What is ECU remapping?
ECU remapping rewrites the software inside your engine's computer. The ECU (engine control unit) is the brain that decides how much fuel, air and boost the engine gets. A remap recalibrates that map so your diesel makes more usable power and torque and runs more efficiently, all within safe limits.
Here is the distinction that matters: a real remap is written for your vehicle and verified under load on a dyno. A bolt-on chip or a mailed-in generic file is a one-size guess that has never seen your engine. Common-rail diesel utes and wagons (Ranger, Hilux, D-Max, Triton, Navara, BT-50 and LandCruiser) are the core of what we remap, and we tune petrol vehicles too.
